What are the minimum requirements to join the Order of Arcanum?

You don't need to be max level to join. At this time, Kingsisle requires at least one Wizard on an Account to be Level 30 or above. After reaching this level, you can add any level Wizard to a Guild House. We are unable to remove this Kingsisle requirement. Your Wizard101 Account must be in good standing.

The Order is intended for more mature Wizards. You must have Open Chat in game to prove you're 18+.

The Order is only active on the North American PC version of Wizard101. We do not have a presence on Wizard101 EU or Console.

Why is it invite only?

Alpha, Omega, and Gamma Chapters are invite-only, but have very easy requirements. We aim to create an actually casual vibe. Some Guilds are advertised as casual, but turn out to be "hardcore."

Delta Chapter is publicly available to join through the Olde Towne Social Kiosk.

We are collectively absolutely not "hardcore," but some of our Members are.

Do you need to have an active Wizard101 Paid Membership to join?

No.

Do you do Raids?

No one is pressured or sneakily manipulated to do Raids. 

If you need ingredients to craft keys, please let Leadership know if they can assist. If you do decide to Raid, please don't be a flake.

Why don't you do massive social events like other Guilds?

There are dozens upon dozens of social Guilds. 

We are not one of them. We are more of a public library and park.

Why was my referral rejected?

It is likely due to space limitation and/or a moral objection by an Active Member. Wizards with questionable associations and a checkered past are voted on via a secret ballot between active Members. We reserve the right to deny bad actors access to The Order Guilds.

Are Voice Chats and Discord mandatory?

Absolutely Not. We respect personal boundaries here.

When will new Chapters form?

Chapters will be created by necessity to expand our numbers. We don't rush to create new Guilds and open them to the public until minimum requirements of tapestries & crafters are pre-planned.

Are there Mandatory Guild Meetings?

No. 99% of updates can be sent on Discord and emails. No need to waste time meeting unless Leadership is distributing resources. If meetings do occur, minutes will be provided.

Are there cheesy ice breakers and mandated bonding events?

F*** no. Let friendships develop organically. You may introduced yourself to The Order in a Discord update. The rest is up to you. Leaders are usually available to lend a hand or provide supportive items/cards.

What went into the decision to limit Guild Decorators.

At least 80% of Guild Decor will be practical interactable items (such as tapestries, kiosks, etc). These items will be organized for easy access. 

This is in the spirit of ADA, OSHA, and Apple and Amazon design. We recognize that not all players have a super powered gaming computer. Therefore, we will strongly aim for easy loading, sleekness, and practicality. On top of that, we will sprinkle in some fun and rare items.
