Spoilers for those who haven’t reached Baba Yaga in Polaris: The Arcanum in-game is a group of Spiral Scholars who conduct research in a secret dimension separate from the Spiral. Think of it as the “college” version of Ravenwood.

While group activities are fun, sometimes you just want to tackle quests solo, optimize your gear and spell decks for maximum efficiency, and experiment with different strategies without feeling rushed or obligated to others' schedules. That's exactly what we're all about. Being "first" or "the best" does not matter to us. It's literally just a game.

What does "casual, optimized solo gameplay" mean for us?

• Casual: We're a relaxed community. There are no mandatory events, no strict activity requirements, and no pressure to be online at specific times. Play when you want, how you want. Life comes first!
  
  

• Optimized Solo Gameplay: This is where we shine. We're a group of like-minded wizards who enjoy sharing pets, treasure cards, and finding efficient ways to progress through the game independently. Think of us as a support network for solo success.
  
  

The Order isn't about ignoring other players entirely. We have a Discord server where you can share your solo triumphs, ask for advice on a tricky encounter, or just chat about your latest endeavors. We might even occasionally team up for something specific if a few members happen to be on and interested, but that's always optional and never our primary focus.

We adhere to the attitude that games are there for us to unwind and be a relaxing past-time for Wizards. When games are made into a mandatory grind similar to external responsibilities, they lose the magic that was intended for their audience to experience. The Order demonstrates and fosters the significance of being respectful, understanding, adaptable, and principled. We do this to encourage a welcoming and safe environment not just within the Order, but the Spiral as well. The community observes and values how Wizards act in various parts of the game, and we seek to bring this to the forefront. As the Golden Rule states; treat others as you would like others to treat you.
